Mountains have always inspired us.

Few moments compare to reaching a summit and looking down into the landscape below. What seemed ordinary from a distance suddenly reveals an entirely new perspective.

basin translates this experience into a pendant light.

Its exterior is calm, clean and understated. A simple reflective shell that quietly blends into contemporary interiors.

Only when viewed from below does its hidden landscape unfold.

A series of overlapping layers, formed from a single deep-drawn plastic sheet, create a sculptural basin that guides the eye towards the centrally positioned light source.

The flowing geometry captures and reflects light, creating an composition of highlights, shadows and depths, all depending on the viewers position.

Like a mountain landscape, basin rewards curiosity. From every angle, new contours emerge, transforming a functional object into a moment of discovery.

Enjoy the view. Just not straight into the light.
